Neo’s phone booth has changed

Walking through Sydney the other day, I passed by the corner of Pitt St. and Hunter St. which, for fans of The Matrix, is the corner on which the first Matrix movie ends with Neo making a telephone call and telling the machines how its going to be… and I noticed  that the phone booth Neo was talking from in the movie has changed 🙂

Day Two Blogging101 assignment

So I made a change.  My Blog is now called “Detailed files” from a famous Arnie quote in Terminator 2: Judgement Day…

“I have detailed files…”

The Terminator, Terminator 2: Judgement Day

The name stems from the *original* name of my blog before I migrated it to WordPress.com

Not only is the name a reference to a line from a favourite movie, it also is a reference to the fact that I love learning (and experiencing things) for fun – see Focussed Learning

Thanks Blogging101! You have helped me break free of *another* barrier in my blogging mind set – site title and site address are the same 🙂

Roald Dahl’s Esio Trot on the ABC last night

What a wonderful story and experience watching Roald Dahl’s Esio Trot on the ABC last night.  The story about Mr Hoppy (Dustin Hoffman) and Mrs Winter (Judi Dench) was just fantastic.  I have never come across that Roald Dahl story before and I am so glad I saw it by chance last night on tv.
