Pluses: I actually made gnocchi from scratch! The gnocchi rose from the boiling water pretty quickly and were nicely cooked thru. It tasted pretty good.

Minuses: It took me 2 hrs including cleaning up! The gnocchi were hard for me to form, most looked like ‘lumps’ (I call them wild gnocchi! 😉 ). I used wholemeal flour by mistake.

All up I’d have to say, I’m happy I tried it but on balance it wasn’t worth all of the effort.  I think my masterchef sweetspot is acually a dish that’s simpler and takes less time and it still nice to eat 🙂
